Artist Opportunities Overview
Join Our Artist Community at The Marshall Muse Gallery
At The Marshall Muse Gallery, we believe in fostering a thriving, supportive, and collaborative artist community. There are many ways to become involved, whether you’re looking for studio space, exhibition opportunities, teaching engagements, or special event features.
In-House Artists
Becoming an In-House Artist means more than just having a private studio space — it’s about being an active part of the gallery experience. Our in-house artists not only create in their studios but also help keep the gallery running by engaging with visitors, assisting with events, and supporting fellow artists. This is a working artist opportunity, giving you direct access to clients, collectors, and the public while enjoying reduced commissions, framing discounts, and exclusive gallery perks. Our studios are all rented at this time, but please let us know if you’d like to be added to our waiting list for consideration in future.
Passageway Artists
More than 25 artists have art exhibited in our gallery passageways. This includes our downstairs hallways, the walls of our stairwell, and the upstairs walls as well. These artists change out their work every couple of months, keeping their personal exhibitions fresh and updated. It’s great fun to see how these small spaces reflect the uniqueness of these artists’ abilities and visions. Meet our Passageway artists on this page, and come in to see their work! If you’re interested in exhibiting as a Passageway Artist in future, contact us to be added to our waiting list.
Sip & Take Artisan Mug Program
The Sip & Take Mug Artisan Mug Wall is our project featuring handcrafted and artist-designed mugs created by local potters and artists. When visitors grab a coffee, tea, or cappuccino from our gallery coffee and tea bar, they can choose from a growing, rotating collection of beautiful mugs, each one designed to spark joy, conversation, and creativity. Exhibiting/Consignment Artists
Are you interested in exhibiting your work with us? As an Exhibiting Artist, you can apply to be part of one of our curated gallery exhibitions, pop-up shows, or our general sales gallery. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or emerging talent, we provide a professional space to showcase your art to a growing audience of collectors and enthusiasts. See a list of our upcoming exhibit themes here.
Art Instructors
We also welcome Art Instructors who want to share their skills and passion! Our instructors lead art classes for kids and adults, as well as our popular Create & Sip gatherings. But we’re not just limited to visual arts — if you teach yoga, meditation, creative writing, journaling, or any other unique creative experience, we’d love to collaborate with you to bring engaging workshops to our community.
We are always looking for new talent to be a part of The Marshall Muse Gallery! If you’re interested in submitting your work, teaching a class, or finding the best way to connect with us, reach out to Tracey to discuss how you can become part of our vibrant creative community. We can’t wait to see what you bring to The Marshall Muse Gallery!
Pottery & Gift Gallery
Tucked inside one of the nine upstairs rooms at the Marshall Muse Gallery, our Pottery & Gift Gallery offers over 200 square feet of handcrafted treasures. This curated space is filled with artisan pottery, stained glass, sculpture, jewelry, and fine art gifts—perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, or simply treating yourself to something beautiful. If you’re interested in renting a shelf in this space, click here to learn more and contact us about the possibility of signing up!
Visiting Artists
If you’re just passing through or want to share a smaller collection of work, consider becoming a Visiting Artist. Whether you’re joining us for a special event, a pop-up show, a holiday market, or a featured guest exhibit, we welcome artists looking for short-term opportunities to showcase their work. Visiting artists also have opportunities to teach workshops, collaborate with our community, and engage with local collectors.
