Our Featured January Nonprofit
is Hirsch Wellness Network
Hirsch Wellness supports the emotional and physical needs of cancer survivors, patients in treatment, and caregivers by providing therapeutic arts and wellness programs that celebrate the power of self-expression and self-healing to cultivate strength, renew spirit, and foster hope.
Over the past 17 years Hirsh Wellness has served over 30,000 participants that are on the cancer journey.
Our Featured February Nonprofit
is Music for a Great Space
Music for a Great Space began as Greensboro residents Henry and Lucy Ingram were involved in the installation of the Fisk Op. 82 organ housed at their home church, Christ United Methodist (CUMC). Fisk organ builders told them as the installation went on that this instrument was special and should be featured not just as a religious but also a concert instrument. So Henry and Lucy began the process of starting a concert series. Over time the series developed to include other instruments and ensembles and to include education as an essential part of the organization.
Our Featured April Nonprofit
is College Pathways of the Triad
College Pathways of the Triad is paving the way for students to achieve success in college and beyond. They believe high-caliber college advising should be available to all students, regardless of income or background. They provide a completely FREE comprehensive college access program including admissions advising, standardized test preparation, financial aid counseling, college tours and ongoing mentoring and support. College Pathways of the Triad knows that the college selection and application process can feel intimidating and overwhelming, especially if few people in your family have gone through the journey themselves. Their goal is to help guide you through the process and support you in finding your pathway to your full potential in college and beyond.
