This nonprofit organization provides tangible basic needs directly to children and families in need. They distribute food, fresh produce, formula, baby food, comfort items, hygiene products, school supplies, diapers, clothing, shoes, books, baby accessories and baby equipment.
The Marshall Muse Gallery is partnering with Backpack Beginnings to offer art supplies and art classes to children in need.

Art, creative and or movement. Or purchase 8 pack art class session (after school) for an even greater experience for a child $103.00.To ensure 100% of your donation reaches BackPack Beginnings, a small 3%processing fee is added to cover credit card fees. That way, your full $20/$100 still goes directly to support their mission.
Please note: Because The Marshall Muse Gallery is not a nonprofit, this purchase is not tax-deductible, but it does help fund art experiences for local kids while supporting a great cause.
Visit our Amazon store, make a purchase, and have art supplies delivered to the gallery for our delivery.

Our Featured February Nonprofit
is Music for a Great Space
Music for a Great Space began as Greensboro residents Henry and Lucy Ingram were involved in the installation of the Fisk Op. 82 organ housed at their home church, Christ United Methodist (CUMC). Fisk organ builders told them as the installation went on that this instrument was special and should be featured not just as a religious but also a concert instrument. So Henry and Lucy began the process of starting a concert series. Over time the series developed to include other instruments and ensembles and to include education as an essential part of the organization.
