Call for Artists
Why Being Represented by a Gallery Matters
Being part of The Marshall Muse Gallery isn’t just about having a space — it’s about being part of a thriving artistic community. Whether you have a studio or a featured wall space, your work will be seen, appreciated, and marketed to a growing audience of collectors and art lovers. Increased visibility leads to more sales, more commissions, and greater opportunities to connect with buyers who appreciate your unique artistic voice. The more you’re represented, the more doors open — whether it’s through networking, exhibitions, special events, or commission-based projects. At The Marshall Muse Gallery, we’re not just showcasing art, we’re building careers and fostering a creative movement.

Not Ready for a Studio?
Exhibit in Our Passageway Gallery or Pottery & Gift Gallery.
Please Note: Our Passageway Gallery spaces have all been rented. Artists have signed 6 and 12 month leases. The details below could help with future planning. Once we have openings, this space will be updated.
Our Passageway Gallery offers the perfect opportunity for artists who want a consistent presence at The Marshall Muse Gallery without renting a private studio. This designated gallery space allows artists to rent wall space at a monthly rate with a six-month commitment, giving you the flexibility to showcase your work without the responsibilities of a full studio rental. This is a great way to establish yourself in the gallery, reach new audiences, and start selling your work while keeping costs manageable. Plus, artists in this program also receive a discounted commission rate on sales — so the more you sell, the more you earn!
Our Pottery & Gift Gallery space is dedicated to showcasing handcrafted pottery, small sculpture, artisan gifts, and creative wares from regional makers and artists. By participating, you’ll have the opportunity to share your work with gallery visitors while growing your customer base and strengthening Greensboro’s creative community. Artists and makers rent shelf space in the Pottery & Gift Room for a monthly fee of $50/$30, with the Gallery retaining a 30% commission on all sales. (A Few Shelves Remain Available.) This allows artists to display work in a curated retail setting without the hassle of running their own shop. The space is designed to support ceramicists, sculptors, jewelers, and craft artisans who want a consistent, professional retail outlet with built-in traffic and marketing support.

❤️ “MY VALENTINE IS ART”
Because art is worth falling in love with.
My Valentine Is Art is The Marshall Muse Gallery’s annual February juried exhibition celebrating the love of art, creativity, and community.
February is often centered around romantic love, but at The Marshall Muse Gallery, we believe it is also the perfect time to celebrate the joy, connection, and inspiration that art brings into our shared spaces. This exhibition invites artists to create work that is uplifting, inclusive, and joyful for all ages, artwork that brings people together and reminds us that art itself can be our Valentine.
Selected works will be displayed in our Community Gallery throughout the month of February, with winning artwork reproduced as a large-scale outdoor mural banner that will serve as a year-long selfie spot on the exterior of the gallery.
