School's Out Art Camps

2026 Holiday Themes

Mon 12/21: Cocoa & Cookies for Santa
Today is all about getting ready for the big visit. Kids will paint a mug, a cookie plate, and a couple of ornaments on ready-made glass and ceramic pieces, with a cocoa break mid-morning to warm up and refuel. This is a bake-it-at-home project, so the paint will need to be cured in your home oven after camp. We'll send home simple instructions with every piece so it's easy to finish up.

Tues 12/22: Holiday Bling for Your Room
Campers will deck out their own space with mini canvas trees, glittery pinecone trees, a door hanger with their name on it, and a paper garland or string of lights to decorate. Everything is finished and ready to hang, so it can go up in their room that very night.

Wed 12/23: Santa's Secret Workshop
Today the kids become elves, making a gift for a special grown-up. Options might include a painted keepsake, a handprint canvas, or a tiny framed painting. Then they design their own wrapping paper and gift tags with printmaking and wrap the present themselves, so it's a surprise from start to finish.

Mon 12/28: Winter Wonderland Wildlife
We're heading to the snowy woods to meet snowy owls, polar bears, and foxes. Kids will explore some fun winter textures along the way, including salt-watercolor "snow," puffy paint, and shimmery silver leaf, to give each animal a frosty, sparkly look.

Tues 12/29: Pajama Art Party
Kids come dressed in their coziest pajamas for a relaxed, slow-paced day of art. They'll paint a cabin scene glowing at night and make a few pom-pom critters, with cocoa and a cozy read-aloud to wind things down. It's a comfy, giggly day, so wear the good PJs and bring your sleepiest smile.

Wed 12/30: Mini Masters: Winter Edition
Campers get a taste of the great artists with a wintry twist. They'll paint a starry night snowscape inspired by Van Gogh, snowy water lilies in the style of Monet, and cut-paper snowflakes inspired by Matisse. No experience needed, just curiosity.

Thurs 12/31: Noon Year's Eve Countdown
A New Year's party for kids who can't stay up until midnight! Campers will make masquerade masks, party hats, and shaker noisemakers, then ring in the new year at noon with a big countdown, confetti, and a sparkling-cider toast before pickup at 1:00.

Fri 1/1: Dream Big 2027
We start the year by looking ahead. Kids will make a vision board of things they're excited about, paint a "Me in 2027" self-portrait, and fill a time capsule jar to open next year.

Dream House Design Day
Saturday, January 2 | 10am to 2pm
Ages 6 to 12 | $125 | Only 12 spots!

A princess castle? A dragon's lair? A secret hideout for your favorite character? Every Dream House is built to your little designer's wildest specs, from the colors to the wallpaper to the tiny art on the walls.

Here's the magic: pick up your child's wooden Dream House anytime before December 23, wrap it up. Christmas morning, they unwrap the house. On January 2nd, they bring it to life at The Marshall Muse!

Not giving it as a gift? No problem, we'll keep it safe here and it'll be waiting for them on camp day.

The house and all design supplies are included. Grown-ups, join us for the Big Reveal at 1pm pickup and see the finished masterpiece! Once our 12 houses are gone, they're gone.
