Art X Science with Haven & Friends
Art × Science with Haven & Friends
Join us for Art × Science, a special monthly program led by local teens and designed especially for kids ages 6 to 12! Held every third Saturday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., this hands-on class explores the creative intersection of art and science—think color chemistry, nature prints, kinetic sculptures, and more. Each session is created and taught by a team of passionate teen volunteers who design the projects, prep the materials, and lead the fun.
The cost is $15 per student, which covers all materials and supplies. (We hope to find a sponsor to offset costs in the future!) Space is limited and advance registration is required. Check out the incredible teen leaders below who make it all happen—this is truly a program by kids, for kids!
Creative Kids Workshops
Creative Kids Workshops (Ages 9–12)
Second Saturdays 9am - 11:30 am
Spark your child’s imagination with our Creative Kids Workshops, 2.5 hour, hands-on sessions designed to dive deep into art-making and self-expression. Each workshop features a fun, focused project guided by a professional artist, giving kids ages 9 to 12 the chance to explore new techniques, experiment with materials, and take home a masterpiece they’re proud of. Perfect for curious creators who love to make, build, and dream big!
Teen Creative Workshops (Ages 13–17)
4th Saturdays 1pm - 4pm
These three-hour workshops are the perfect creative escape for teens who love to make art and try new things. Each session features a unique, hands-on project led by a professional artist—designed to inspire imagination, build skills, and encourage self-expression. Whether they’re into painting, printmaking, mixed media, or something totally experimental, teens will leave with something original and totally their own. No experience needed—just bring your creativity!
