Are you looking for a fun, social, and creative way to unwind? Our Create & Sip Gatherings are the perfect way to explore your artistic side while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere with friends, family, or fellow creatives. These workshops include all supplies, expert instruction, and a lively setting where you can sip on your favorite beverage from our bar serving coffee, tea, wine, and beer. Bring your own food or grab one of our prepackaged snacks, enjoy the music, and let your creativity flow! If the weather is just right, sometimes our event will be featured outside. There is a minimum of 3 participants per event unless otherwise noted. Registrations closes 24hrs before event. Missed the cut off? Call to see if there is a class or space.

The Listening Canvas is a guided creative experience where participants gather to listen deeply to a curated album or musical selection, reflect on lyrics and emotion, and create a personal painting inspired by what they hear and feel. This is not a traditional paint class focused on technique or replication—instead, the experience invites participants to respond intuitively through color, mark-making, and expression. Guests will be guided through music listening, reflection prompts, painting time, and optional sharing in a welcoming and judgment-free environment.
No painting experience is necessary. All materials provided.

Celebrate summer with a creative family experience at The Marshall Muse Gallery! Join us for Paint, Plant & Grow, a fun hands-on workshop where families will work together to design and paint their own set of flower pots to brighten a porch, patio, garden, or windowsill.
Each family will receive three 6-inch terracotta pots to customize with colorful designs, patterns, handprints, family names, inspirational messages, or anything else your imagination can dream up. Our instructors will provide guidance and creative ideas, while leaving plenty of room for your family's unique style to shine.
This project is designed for all ages and skill levels, making it the perfect summer activity for parents, grandparents, and kids to create together. Whether you make matching pots or give each family member their own masterpiece, you'll leave with a beautiful set of personalized planters ready for flowers, herbs, or succulents at home.

Using only markers as our medium, we move through three soul-nourishing stages — Emotion Mapping, Neural Pathways, and the Soul Layer — each one designed to unlock a deeper level of creative freedom and self-discovery.
Rooted in the science of neuroaesthetics, this experience shows you how repetitive mark-making, color play, and expressive line work can actually calm your nervous system, activate your brain's reward centers, and drop you into a blissful state of flow. Join us for an engaging evening of learning, strategy, and connection as we explore the timeless game of Mahjong. Whether you've never touched a tile before or simply need a refresher, these classes are designed to help you build confidence while having fun with fellow players.
Led by Palmar Ortmann, founder of The Mahj Pal and ambassador for The Mahjong Line, each session offers hands-on instruction in a welcoming and social environment.
Arrive at 5:30 PM to grab a beverage, stroll through the gallery, meet fellow players, and enjoy the artwork before the games begin. Play starts promptly at 6:00 PM.
Mahjong 101 - Learn the Basics

Perfect for absolute beginners. If you've never played Mahjong before, this class is for you. Learn the basics of the game, understand the tiles, develop foundational strategies, and gain the confidence to sit down and play.

Already taken Mahjong 101 or need a refresher? This class is designed for players who have already taken Mahjong 101 or a lesson with Palmer in the past, but would like additional guidance and practice. We'll review key concepts, strengthen strategy skills, answer questions, and help you become more comfortable at the table.
