Masquerade at the Muse: The Early Bird New Year's Toast
Thursday, December 31, 2026 | 7:00 - 10:00 PM
$45
Why wait until midnight? Ring in 2027 early at downtown Greensboro's most glamorous New Year's Eve warm-up, where Venetian masquerade meets art and sparkle inside our historic 1913 Tudor home.
Slip on a mask, pull out the sequins, and join us for an evening of art, bubbly, and fun. We'll raise our glasses at 9 PM, so you can toast the new year in style and still make it to your next stop (or your couch) well before the ball drops.
Your ticket includes:
Heavy hors d'oeuvres (plenty to make a dinner of)
Sweet treats
A sparkling toast at 9 PM (Prosecco or a sparkling mocktail)
An upbeat party playlist
A photo backdrop made for your best New Year's Eve pictures
The bar
Our bar will be open all evening, credit card only.
Live painting and silent auction
Watch artist Becca Dudley bring a new original painting to life throughout the evening. Bidding is open all night, and the winner will be announced before we wrap. The winning bidder pays that evening and picks up the finished piece once Becca adds her final touches.
The mask contest
Masks are encouraged but not required. Cast your vote for your favorite looks, and at 9:30 PM we'll crown our winners in three categories: Best Mask, Most Creative, and Best Handmade. Each winner takes home a free Create & Sip class (valued up to $65).
Dress code
Sequins, bold color, a little drama, and all the creative flair you've got. You know that outfit hanging in your closet, the one you've been saving because you never had the right place to wear it? This is the place. Show us your personal style, turned all the way up.
Space is intentionally limited to keep the evening intimate, so reserve early.
Make your own mask first!
Join our Mask-Making Workshop on Saturday, December 12, from 2 to 4 PM. For $25, you'll design a one-of-a-kind masquerade mask, then show it off on New Year's Eve. (Psst... it could win you Best Handmade.) Open to everyone, separate registration required.
