From Gallery to Creative Arts Community
Even before we opened our doors, we dreamed of creating a place where art, creativity, and community could come together. What we didn’t know was just how quickly that dream would grow.

Now, nine months into this journey, we find ourselves looking around and realizing something pretty incredible: The Marshall Muse has become so much more than an art gallery.
It has become a creative arts community.
Located in the heart of Greensboro, North Carolina, The Marshall Muse Gallery has grown into a destination where people can experience local art, take classes, attend events, discover new artists, and connect with others who share a love for creativity.
And this summer has been nothing short of amazing.
As we prepare to launch more than 60 classes and creative workshops in August alone, we’re reminded of why we created this space in the first place. From kids art classes and summer camps to adult painting classes, glass painting experiences, and hands-on creative workshops, there is truly something for everyone.
Our summer camps have exceeded our expectations, filling our classrooms with young artists exploring their creativity, learning new skills, and building confidence through art. Watching children proudly share what they create has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

Our gallery walls continue to tell new stories every month, with more than 150 local artists now exhibiting throughout our spaces. Each artist brings a unique perspective, talent, and passion, creating an ever-changing experience every time you visit.
Our Community Gallery has also become a destination of its own, with exhibiting space already booked through July of next year. The response from artists and the community has been incredible, and we’re honored to provide a platform where local creatives can share their work with new audiences.
But The Marshall Muse is about more than visual art.
Our creative community continues to grow through movement, music, and connection. Our Tai Chi classes have been a wonderful addition, bringing people together through mindfulness and wellness. We’re also excited to welcome a new yoga instructor and continue expanding our wellness offerings.
One of our most notable expansions since opening our doors is The Creative Commons, our outdoor space, where we frequently host live music events. The space is also for rent for your private parties!
Our Composers’ Corner and Summer Music Series have brought the sounds of live music into our space, creating opportunities for musicians and guests to gather and enjoy performances in a welcoming atmosphere.
We have even expanded our creative community through new partnerships. This fall, we’re thrilled to welcome April from West & Co. as she joins our team and brings her business into The Marshall Muse family, adding another layer of creativity and collaboration to our growing space.
With 8,700 square feet filled with galleries, artist studios, classrooms, event space, wellness experiences, music, custom framing, and creative opportunities, The Marshall Muse Gallery has truly become its own creative arts center in Greensboro.
Every day brings something new. A new artist. A new class. A new friendship. A new reason to walk through our doors.
Whether you are looking for local artwork, a fun art class, a unique event experience, a creative outlet, or simply a place to feel inspired, we invite you to visit The Marshall Muse Gallery.
Come explore. Come create. Come be part of the story.
Because behind every piece of art is a story, and behind The Marshall Muse is a community creating something extraordinary together.
