Hi! I’m Kirsten, 24 years old and an elementary school teacher during the school year. I recently graduated from UNCG with a dual degree in special education and elementary education. This is my eighth year being an art camp instructor, and I especially love painting with watercolors—though any kind of painting is my favorite. When I’m not teaching or painting, I enjoy traveling and exploring local coffee shops.

Hey, I'm Savannah F., a future nurse studying at UNCW. I love to read, crochet, and bake in my freetime to keep my creativity flowing. I was a camper at these very art camps as soon as I was old enough to join and I loved it so much that I stayed to become an instructor. I love helping kids find their creativity and opening their eyes to a world of wonder. I believe that every kid is an artist waiting for their moment to show off their skills and that everyday is a good day for art.

Hi! I’m Rachel, I'm 16 years old and love photography and watercolor painting. I've been attending art camp since I was around 7, and it's played a huge role in shaping my love for creativity. Volunteering at my church is also a big part of my life—it's where I’ve built the best friendships and found joy in serving others. I love expressing myself through art and finding beauty in everyday moments.
